On 21 May, Year 5 pupils visited Manor House Forest School. For those of you that are not familiar with Manor House, they have a beautiful mature 7-acre woodland at Quex Park Estate in Birchington.
Forest School has a proven track record for enriching and enhancing children's development, social skills and well-being in a woodland environment.
The pupils loved meeting the farm animals up close, enjoyed an exhilarating zip-wire ride, toasted marshmallows on the campfire, and got just a little bit muddy in the mud kitchen!
The trip was organised as part of the Junior School's extensive 'Outdoor Adventures' curriculum.
