Uniform

The School Shop is located in the Bursary Department. If you are facing the main Senior School building, this is located to the right and sign posted.

 

Visiting the Shop – Term Time

We are operating a School shop hatch service from the bay window of the Shop, which is open Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Opening Hours: 9.15 to 12.45pm & 2.00pm to 5.30pm. No appointment necessary.

In addition to the above opening times, pupils on site can also visit the hatch between 1.30pm – 2pm.

 

Opening Hours: 9.30am to 12.00pm & 2.00pm to 5.00pm. No appointment necessary.

Order forms are not required for small top up orders and can be placed by emailing the School Shop at schoolshop@slcuk.com  or by telephone by calling main switchboard:

T: + 44 (0)1843 808080 and asking for the School Shop.

 

Payment

Orders placed at, or to be collected from the School Shop Hatch can be paid for by card or added to the fee account. For pupils adding items on account it is assumed that they have their parents’ permission. The invoicing of these items will then be added to the fee bill for each term.

 

Uniform  – For New joiners

 Families have the option or ordering uniform in the following ways:

1)  Email schoolshop@slcuk.com TO BOOK A FITTING APPOINTMENT

  • Fitting appointments will be 30 minutes per pupil. Each family will be able to take away their uniform on the day.

2) Place an order using our order forms located on this page

  • Submit their order by email to schoolshop@slcuk.com
  • The School Shop will contact you when the order is ready to collect from the School Shop hatch. Payment will be required by card on collection.

Families of Boarding pupils placing an order using order forms will be required to:

  • Submit their order by email to schoolshop@slcuk.com
  • Uniform orders for boarding pupils will be sent to their boarding House matrons ready for their arrival.
  • Invoices for uniform will be added to the fee account and a copy of the invoice will be enclosed with each order.
  • On arrival at the College all uniform will need to be tried on to check that pupils are happy with the sizes they have ordered. If exchanges are required these will be sorted out in house by the matrons and the School Shop. Once all uniform is correct it will be labelled by the matrons.

Can I order over the telephone?

This option is only available during term time for small top up orders.

How do I know what size to select?

Sizing information will be available with the order forms. For current pupils, please use existing uniform to gauge the appropriate sizes required.

What is the dress code at St Lawrence College?

We expect all our pupils to wear their uniform correctly and with pride. The uniform lists you can find and download from this page provide a comprehensive guide for all year groups and must be adhered to.

Do I need to name all of my child’s uniform?

All items should be clearly labelled with nametapes.

E.g. for trousers and skirts on the inside waistband; for shirts, blouses and jumpers at the inside back neck.

Nametapes can be purchased from the School Shop and will automatically be ordered for all new boarding pupils. All footwear should be labelled with a permanent maker.

Do you have any second hand uniform available?

We do have a second hand shop with a selection of garments. Please indicate on your order form if you are interested in purchasing from this stock. All items have been laundered onsite and quarantined for over 72 hours.
