Frequently Asked Questions

Please find below answers to some School Uniform questions you may have.

Do I have to order by a certain date?

Yes. For September 2021 we would ask that all orders are placed with the School Shop by Sunday 15 August to facilitate the order process. If orders are placed after this date we cannot guarantee that uniform will be available for the start of term.

Can I order over the telephone?

This option is only available during term time for small top up orders.

How do I know what size to select?

Sizing information will be available with the order forms. For current pupils, please use existing uniform to gauge the appropriate sizes required.

I haven’t received an order form?

These will be available on the website from the beginning of July 2021.

What is the dress code at St Lawrence College?

We expect all our pupils to wear their uniform correctly and with pride. The uniform lists you can find and download from this page provide a comprehensive guide for all year groups and must be adhered to.

Do I need to name all of my child’s uniform?

All items should be clearly labelled with nametapes.

E.g. for trousers and skirts on the inside waistband; for shirts, blouses and jumpers at the inside back neck.

Nametapes can be purchased from the School Shop and will automatically be ordered for all new boarding pupils. All footwear should be labelled with a permanent maker.

Do you have any second hand uniform available?

We do have a second hand shop with a selection of garments. Please indicate on your order form if you are interested in purchasing from this stock. All items have been laundered onsite and quarantined for over 72 hours.
