Congratulations to the Lawton’s, Harrison, Amelia and Gracie, who were recognised for their achievements at the Invictia Athletics Club annual awards night last Friday.
All the Lawton’s are county top one or two for their respective disciplines, which involves an incredible amount of effort and dedication all year round.
Harrison received ‘best male field athlete of 2021/ 22’, Amelia received ‘best female athlete of 2021/22’ and Gracie was awarded ‘best female multi events athlete of 2021/22’.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any pictures of Harrison as he was attending the Sixth Form dinner on Friday evening, but Amelia accepted his award for him. The first picture is Amelia and Gracie with Mike Botha, their outstanding athletics coach and mentor.
Their father, Mr Lawton said, “A lot of this wouldn’t be achievable without the support and encouragement they all receive from the school, so please do share in this result.”
