Minibus Driver

(zero hours contract, term time)

We are looking to appoint a driver to work on a zero hours, term time only basis driving pupils to and from adhoc sporting fixtures and events, and as a relief driver for the school run via the designated school routes, and airport runs. In addition to driving duties, you will be required to ensure that the minibuses are maintained, clean and in good condition which may involve some basic maintenance work. You will be required to attend a number of training courses prior to the start date. Group Activity Leaders – Day Camp

Are you looking for an exciting job with a difference? We are looking to recruit group activity leaders who are caring, talented and warm individuals that genuinely enjoy working with children of all ages and may be interested in working with children as a career.

We offer a range of sporting activities including swimming, football, tennis, dodgeball and ultimate Frisbee, to name a few. We also have a state of the art climbing wall and offer specialist courses in drama and dance, cooking, scuba diving and arts and crafts.

Reporting to the Camp Manager, as Group Activity Leader you will be responsible for the welfare and all aspects of caring for an assigned group of children both during and outside of activity times including break and lunch time supervision. You will need to ensure that an impeccable standard of health and safety is maintained at all times in line with our activity guidelines and risk assessments.

This is a zero hours contract but when on duty, you will be required to work all or part of the Camp Opening hours 7.45 am. – 6.15pm.

Group Activity Leader Job Description

Marketing Officer

The Marketing Officer will play a pivotal role in the promotion of St Lawrence College (both Senior and Junior Schools), as part of the External Relations Department. They will positively and proactively contribute to all aspects of Marketing including creating and managing digital content, driving social media and contributing to delivery of the overall Strategic Marketing Plan.

This role is incredibly varied and requires understanding of marketing communications and digital channels. You will be a natural multi-tasker with outstanding communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail, along with the determination to meet key deadlines.

The successful candidate will have exceptional IT and copy-writing skills. Video creation and Photography skills will be an advantage. The role would suit someone with relevant experience of Digital Marketing or someone early on in their careers as/a recent graduate, keen to gain understanding and practical experience in this area.

Due to the nature of the role, we require flexibility and professionalism along with the ability to work to deadlines and to adapt to changing work priorities in a calm and efficient manner.

Working Hours;

Monday to Friday

8.30 – 17.00

With one hour unpaid lunch break

College Facilities Administration Assistant

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and capable Administration Assistant on a Full Time (40 hours per week, including working in the school holidays), Permanent basis.

Reporting to the Support Operations Manager, this role is key to providing administration support for the College Facilities Team by ensuring the smooth running of systems and processes.

Key experience and skills sought – Experience of working in a busy office environment; Good knowledge of Office 365; Ability to work with a range of professionals including external and internal partners.

Experience of working in a school environment and use of school data system, would be an advantage.

Hours of work: Monday – Friday 40 hours per week (one hour unpaid lunch break)

Exams Officer

St Lawrence College is a successful HMC boarding and day school in Ramsgate, for pupils aged 3-18 years and has a long record of providing an excellent academic education within a supportive community. We have recently entered the High-Performance Learning (HPL) Fellowship of World Class Schools and our aim is to maximise the performance of every pupil, ensuring that they leave school equipped with the knowledge, skills and qualities that will serve them well for university, the workplace and life.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Exams Officer / Admin Support Assistant to work part-time in our busy administration team.

The Exams Officer will undertake all aspects of the role under the direction of the Deputy Head (Academic).

The part-time hours for this role will be annualised at 690 per year (mostly during term time but with key dates during the school holidays) and are expected to be made up as follows:

Michaelmas Term        15 hours per week (no lunch break)

9.15am – 12.15pm

Lent Term                          15 hours per week (no lunch break)

9.15am – 12.15pm

Summer Term                30 hours per week (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

8.00am – 3.00pm

The ideal candidate must be flexible in their approach, efficient and organised as well as able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines and most importantly be able to use their own initiative.
