We are looking to recruit and train an apprentice Grounds Person to work towards a Diploma in Sports Turf Management and Grounds.
As part of the Grounds Team, the successful applicant will assist in the maintenance and preparation of the playing surfaces, whilst undertaking general maintenance tasks with tools and machinery.
Working Hours;
Monday to Friday
07:30 – 15:00 (1 October – 31 March)
07:00 – 16:30 (1 April – 30 September)
The ideal candidate will have good customer service skills; be able to communicate with both adults and children and be able to demonstrate good attention to detail.
The ability to be highly motivated and to work alone as well as part of a team is essential to the role.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our highly motivated and award-winning Grounds & Gardens Team. This is a key role within the department which will help to ensure the grounds are maintained to an excellent standard and to provide a professional impression to all visitors, parents, pupils and staff.
The role will see the candidate undertake a range of duties concerned with the school premises and support the smooth operation of the entire site.
The schools playing fields are used for football, rugby, hockey, tennis and cricket and are made up of both natural and artificial turf. This accompanied by landscape bedding and ornamental lawns makes the role very diverse and interesting.

Minibus Driver
(zero hours contract, term time)
We are looking to appoint a driver to work on a zero hours, term time only basis driving pupils to and from school via the designated school routes. In addition to driving duties, you will be required to ensure that the minibuses are maintained in clean and good condition which may involve some basic maintenance work. You will be required to attend a number of training courses prior to the start date.

We are looking to recruit an experienced and reliable General Maintenance Team Member to join our Facilities Team.
This a permanent position and duties will include; targeting leaks to showers and bathrooms, repairing any associated water damage, repairs to doors and furniture and general maintenance type duties.
To be successful in this role you will be able to work independently to a high standard, taking pride in the quality of work is essential. Experience in fault finding, general plumbing, carpentry and decorating skills are essential as well as working safely and methodically.
This position will support the Facilities Co-ordinator in completion of other tasks as directed to support operations of the department and ensure College buildings are kept in good repair.
NVQ Level 2 in Building Maintenance preferred or evidence of relevant experience.
Working hours;
Full time 37.5 hours
Mon-Fri 08:00 – 16:00
Saturday 08:00 – 13:00 (7 per year)
The requirements of this role will necessitate occasional evening and weekend work as well as providing cover for the Caretaker role as necessary.
