On a sunny Autumn afternoon on the 30th of September, a group of esteemed former associates of St. Lawrence College gathered at St. George & Dragon in Exeter for an organised reunion, courtesy of Mr. Malcolm Jones and the External Relations Officer of the College.

As the attendees settled into a cozy corner of the establishment, the room was filled with laughter and warm greetings. Memories of college rituals and shared fondness flowed freely throughout the afternoon.

Each member of the alumni expressed heartfelt gratitude to the College for shaping their lives and providing the foundation for their future successes. They believed that the institution had endowed them with the confidence and connections necessary for their individual pursuits.

Eric Holdaway took a moment to convey his appreciation, saying, “Thank you for all your hard work in arranging the event – and attending to our needs so well. Also, for your update on what is happening back at the College. It was great. I hadn’t seen Graham Cotter since we left in 1968 – which was a real thrill for me!! The passage of time didn’t impact the memories at all. There are so many positive outcomes out of these reunion events – really beneficial to all.”

Attendees: Nick Carmichael, Graham and Christine Cotter, Eric Holdaway, John Isaac, David and Angela Jackson, Malcolm and Mary Jones, Peter Taylor.
