Head of Design and Technology Reflects on A Level Performance

Posted: 1st September 2022

Following the success of our A Levels this year, our Head of Design and Technology, Kirsten Parker, has been reflecting on the successes of the Design and Technology A Level cohort and some of their individual successes:

“The design technology department is especially proud of our A level cohort this year, students having been through the covid mill and demonstrated considerable resilience. Outcomes have been impressive and students are going on to study a wide range of courses.

Jack is studying Architecture at the University of Lincoln, Finley is going to Brighton to study Automotive Engineering, Joe is studying Aerospace Engineering at Bristol, Jonathan is studying Software Engineering at the University of Leicester and Anna is going to the University of the Arts London to study Jewellery Design. We also have Molly who is going to Lincoln where she will be studying Forensic Chemistry, Arabella who will be studying veterinary Nursing at Hartpury University and last but not least Ben who is heading to Oxford Brookes to study Business and Management.

Whether or not they are pursuing careers or further study in design and technology related subjects, we know that they will use their problem solving, analytical, teamwork and research skills (to name but a few) and work hard to excel. We wish them the very best.
