Dear Recruitment Partners,
Its been a very busy few weeks at St Lawrence. We were delighted to attend the ALPHE Secondary Workshop in London and sponsor the Guardianship category at the ALPHE Secondary Awards. Congratulations to many of our wonderful partners for your fantastic achievements which were also recognised at the award ceremony.
Following the workshop, we welcomed 15 representatives to experience life first hand at St Lawrence. From exploring our classrooms and boarding life to touring the historic Royal Harbour and visiting a local seal colony, the trip offered a true taste of what makes our school — and our community — so special.
It’s been great seeing so many of you at the BBSW Networking day in Surrey and the EMA event in Dubai.
Sixth Form
Our Sixth Form pages have been updated where you can find the latest information on our curriculum.
Did you know we offer a range of Pathways to Success in our Sixth Form?
Students can choose to attend a series of 10 weekly workshops that help them develop the skills, knowledge and experience to prepare for their applications and interviews. This is complemented by specialist programmes run by Mrs Semlyen, our Head of Careers. Pathways offered include :
– Pathway to Oxbridge- preparing pupils for applying to the most competitive universities in the UK, the Oxbridge programme puts students in the best position for success
– Pathway to Medicine, Dentistry and VetMed (MDV) – with a 100% success rate over 10 years (100+ students)
– Pathway to the US-the US application system is very different to that in the UK. The Pathway to the US ensures students are positioned for success.
