A-Level Results Day

As A-Level Results Day approaches next week, we’d like to take this opportunity to wish all students receiving their results the very best. We know this is a significant moment for many of your families, and we’re proud of the hard work our pupils have put in throughout their time with us.

Our team will be available to offer support, guidance, and next-step advice to ensure each student is fully supported, whatever their outcome. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you or your students need any assistance.

Moving On

I wanted to let you know that I will be leaving my role here this week, as I prepare to return to a teaching support position, working with Key Stage 4 and 5 pupils.

This decision comes from my deep passion for supporting young people and helping them feel confident, seen, and empowered in their educational journeys. I’m excited to return to the classroom environment, where I can continue championing the needs of pupils at such a pivotal stage in their lives.

That said, it’s not easy to say goodbye. I have truly loved being part of the SLC community and feel privileged to have worked so closely with our pupils, families, and agents. Watching the young people here grow, overcome challenges, and step into their futures has been nothing short of inspiring. I shall miss them all greatly as they continue their journeys.

Although I’ll be stepping away from my role, my connection to the school will remain strong — both of my children will continue here, and I know they will keep thriving in such a nurturing and dynamic environment.
