How has the Sports Excellence programme at St Lawrence College helped and supported you so far?

It has been amazing to have international athlete mentors who work at the college to support me in my journey and is available for any queries I may have. The amazing gym and facilities and extra time availabilities I am aloud to use is, have helped me with time management so I am able to fit in more training during the week. The college is also very supportive in helping me keep up to date with my academics when I am away competing.

Athletics is one of the few sports that is totally inclusive, no matter your athletic ability there will be a sport, which if you apply yourself to it, you can succeed in.

Do you have any advice for anybody else interested in learning more about throwing?

There are lots of athletic clubs in Kent, where one can try lots of different athletics disciplines. Athletics is one of the few sports that is totally inclusive, no matter your athletic ability there will be a sport, which if you apply yourself to it, you can succeed in. The other thing is don’t be scared to give it a go!
