St Lawrence College is proud to share the GCSE results of our pupils, whose commitment to learning and enthusiasm has led to another excellent year of achievement.
This year saw outstanding subject performances, with pupils securing 100% grades 9–4 in Art & Design, Chemistry, Drama, Music, Physics, and Latin, underlining the breadth of academic excellence across the curriculum. In addition, 100% of pupils scored grades 9–8 in English (Additional Language), and a perfect 100% grade 9 in German and Russian.
Overall, our pass rate stands at 84% (9-4), significantly greater than the national average of 68%. In English Language, pupils achieved an outstanding 97% pass rate, which is an impressive 37% higher than the national figure of 60%.
Top grades were another notable strength with 27% of all results at 9–7, over 20% higher than the national average.
