The Results Are In: House Drama 2024
This past Saturday, St Lawrence College hosted its much-anticipated annual House Drama Competition, and the evening did not disappoint. The event was a dazzling celebration of creativity, talent, and the vibrant spirit of the school community, all tied together by this year’s thought-provoking theme: Good vs Evil.
The students delivered a spectacular array of performances, showcasing their passion on stage. With a line-up that included beloved classics like Matilda, Peter Pan, and The Karate Kid, the intense drama of Lord of the Flies, the cinematic grandeur of Gladiator, and two original plays, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Each performance reflected the dedication and effort of students and staff alike, leaving the audience thoroughly entertained and deeply impressed.
While every house shone brightly, a panel of judges had the challenging task of selecting the winners. After much deliberation, the awards were announced as follows:

The House Drama Competition is not just about the performances—it’s a celebration of collaboration, dedication, and the power of storytelling. From the actors and directors to the costume designers, stagehands, and lighting technicians, every student involved played a vital role in bringing their house’s vision to life.
A special thank you goes out to the staff and tutors who guided the students throughout the preparation process, as well as the audience members whose enthusiasm and support made the evening even more memorable.
