Well done to our Pre-Prep children who performed in our 2021 Animals Nativity this week. What a fantastic performance!
As Mary and Joseph made their way to the Inn with the Donkey by their side, they met lots of animal friends along the way. The children took us on a journey with each song introducing a new group of Nativity characters, from wise men to angels, turtle doves and shepherds. The songs were sung beautifully and their voices filled the theatre, with ‘Camel Calypso’ clearly a favourite with the audience.
Following the performance, Head of the Junior School, Ellen Rowe, said, ‘We all work in a school because we love children, and I think we just love them that bit more now. It really is so special’.
We are so proud of our pupils and we are definitely all feeling very festive here at St Lawrence College.
