St Lawrence College were honoured to host @psgacademyengland to offer four weeks of football training this summer, to all ability players. Children who attended had the opportunity to learn new skills, techniques, make new friends all whilst representing the Paris Saint-Germain Academy in Ramsgate.
The camp was a huge success and the children have absolutely loved learning new skills from the PSG experts themselves, such as:
- Ball Mastery – running with the ball & dribbling
- Passing/receiving and receiving to turn
- Shooting from short and long-distance
- Defending/tackling/marking
- Aerial control, heading and goalkeeping
- Developing social, physical, technical, psychological awareness
- Understanding tactics, formations and styles of play
As well as an action-packed week of football, children who attended received individual players report cards (with guidance, support and tips on where to improve), prizes, an attendance certificate and best of all a full Paris Saint-Germain Academy Kit!
