Food

Pleasing all of our students all of the time will never be possible as far as food is concerned, but we do try, nevertheless! Our Catering Manager and his team work hard to provide both quality and variety in the menus they choose. His decisions are guided by the College Food Committee, which meets once a term and is composed of a cross-section of the student body along with key members of staff. The process is very much ‘student-led’, as each House makes suggestions to its Food Committee representative who takes these to the termly meeting – thus providing excellent feedback on ‘pilot’ meals, favourites and unpopular choices. College food is tasty, plentiful and there is a wide choice available. We welcome students from a wide range of cultures and are experienced in offering a daily selection of hot and cold vegetarian food, along with dishes that are free of wheat, pork, nuts and beef products. A number of our pupils suffer from food allergies, so all staff are made aware of each child’s needs.
