Badminton is a popular option for fifth and sixth form students during the Michaelmas and Lent terms and now that we have five courts, far more students can participate.  Many play badminton for recreational purposes only, but we also have an elite group which make up the squad who train hard and play successfully against other schools throughout Kent.  Further down the school, badminton is proving to be increasingly popular the new facilities have helped.

The Senior House Competition was played in the first week of February.  This was a thoroughly enjoyable but competitive afternoon and a well-organized Bellerby beat Laing 7-2 in the Girls match.  The Boys match was close right until the end, but Tower came out on top with 13 wins to Lodges 11.  Newlands were a gallant third.  Congratulations to all involved.
