School Life

St Lawrence College provides continuity of education from 3 to 18 years, or the flexibility for you to choose independent education for just part of your child's schooling; Junior or Senior.

The Senior School has approximately 450 boarding and day pupils, both from local and international families. The school is small enough for each pupil to be considered and valued as an individual, but large enough to provide challenge through a variety of different subjects, activities and skills areas.

Cutting edge facilities and state-of-the-art architecture exist happily alongside the more traditional and very fine late nineteenth century buildings, reminding staff and pupils alike of the long and well-earned reputation of the College, which successfully blends traditional values with twenty-first century enterprise.

Frequently, visitors to the College remark on the excellent atmosphere within its walls, on the friendly familiarity that exists between staff and pupils, on the politeness that they see around them. There is a definite sense of respect for each member of the College community, whatever their place or age.

"The school is successful in providing opportunities for pupils of all abilities to gain academic success and develop their individual talents."
