Assistant Director of Music
We are looking for a genuinely passionate and enthusiastic teacher to provide support to the Director of Music in the running of this very highly successful department.
Music plays an important role in the day to day life of the College, with curriculum lessons from Year 7 through to A Level alongside an extended range of extra-curricular opportunities and regular involvement in Chapel services
The ideal candidate will be an inspiring teacher and musician, able to enthuse pupils of all ages and abilities. Candidates should ideally be proficient pianists and the ability to play the organ would be an advantage. In addition to teaching class music, the Assistant Director of Music will be expected to support and contribute to the extracurricular programme.
All colleagues are expected to act as a pastoral tutor, attached to a day or boarding house, and should be willing to be involved with the wider life of a busy boarding and day school.
This post is offered as a full-time role, but applicants interested in part-time employment will be considered.
