Tonry-Brown boys get into Kent U16's
Rugby playing brothers Finn and Milo Tonry-Brown of Newlands House have both gained places in the Kent U16 squad for this season.
Finn has got in at loose head prop and Milo will play in the centre. Both boys are part of this season's successful 1stXV squad and have shown the sort of dedication that takes you to the next level. Being part of the county squad is a magnificant boost for both the boys and the school and demonstrates how the school is now progressing forward with rugby at all levels, despite very small numbers.
The boys are also part of the successful Thanet Wanderers set up that has seen the local club side go unbeaten so far this season at U16 level. Finn prefers playing blind side flanker and has been in superb form for the 1stXV this season, particularly in the recent victory over Chatham House where he turned over the ball on so many occasions. Milo is playing at inside centre and despite his size has shown excellent ball carrying ability and superb technique in the contact area.
With the Tonry-Brown's setting the standard for others to follow the future looks good for rugby at St Lawrence College.
A massive well done to both boys for this magnificant achievement!
