World's Biggest Coffee Morning
On Friday 25th September 2009, St. Lawrence College participated in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, organised in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The Head of Home Economics and Food Technology, Mrs Jane Green, organised the event and is pictured here with her Year 11 GCSE group of helpers and assorted customers. They sold a range of home-baked cookies and cakes during the mid-morning Break and managed to raise the sum of £581.83 for the charity. The event was well-supported, as always and a complete sell-out!
Mrs Green was pleased with the results - as were her MANY customers.
