Duke of Edinburgh Expedition
At the recent Long Exeat Weekend (11th- 13th March) 33 pupils in the Fourth and Fifth Forms undertook their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award expeditions in the New Forest.
Supervised and assessed by 6 staff, they spent two nights camping and walked between 25 and 30 miles. Apart from some rain on the second morning, they enjoyed good weather conditions.
They all did well, despite making a few navigational errors or stumbling into the odd bog, and everyone successfully completed their expedition phase.
