Newlands

Newlands House is the day house for senior boys aged from 13 to 18. Their Housemaster is Mr Graham and the Deputy Housemaster is Mr Wilkening.

The 3rd, 4th and 5th Forms are based on the first floor. Their rooms are equipped with computers and wireless connection for laptops. The sixth Form share the basement rooms with the Laing sixth Form and there are several computers in these rooms. All boys have their own locker in the changing rooms.

Currently there are 62 pupils in the House. Many are from Thanet but others travel from Deal, Sandwich, Canterbury and Herne Bay.

Newlands has a strong identity and enters all House competitions, both at Junior and Senior levels. The House has a very good record of success in most sporting competitions, in the House General Knowledge Competition and also in the House Drama and Singing Competitions.

Newlands boys are proud of their House.
