Tower

Tower House is one of two thriving boy’s boarding houses at St Lawrence College. The House retains is traditional ethos, whilst welcoming a growing percentage of the pupils from over 10 countries around the world, who add to the international flavour and aroma of the House.

Gary Davies’ leadership as Housemaster since arriving in September 2009 has been most valuable to the boys. Following a career as a Head of Geography and Deputy Headteacher he felt it was time for a change. St Lawrence College has provided just that. He is supported by his wife Jane, also a teacher of Geography, and ably assisted by experienced Resident Tutor and teacher of EAL, Steve King.

One definite and enduring aim of the House Staff is to create an environment of pride and worth; a place where boarders feel valued and safe as well as guided and respected, living and studying peacefully and productively amongst friends.

Tower aims to be more than a place, just as its boys will aim to be more than just pupils. Tower house is a team.
