Inter-House Quiz

On Thursday 5^th March there was an Inter-House Quiz at St. Lawrence College Junior School. The quiz took place in the Robert Hall. The teams were: Fisk – Chloe Binfield, Sam Nicholson, Niamh Houlihan and Jaeg Lawson. Sutton – Tom Wilkening, Charlotte Musgrove, Harry Tobin and Jack Elliot. Weymouth –Sean Bryant, Monica Gold, Amber Stagg and George Bryant.

About the Quiz

There were three tables, one for each house, set up on the stage. They each had a different instrument as a buzzer. There were ten rounds, each with ten questions. There were group questions and individual questions. Our favourite rounds were ‘famous faces’ and ‘colour’.

Audience Participation

Some of the audience were lucky and had a chance to win points for their team. Years 3 and 4 had to write the ten heaviest animals down, excluding whales and Years 5 and 6 had to write the ten largest countries by area.

What we thought about the Quiz

We though the quiz was great because the audience had a chance to join in. It was good because we got to sit in our teams in the hall and the questions were really interesting and made you think.

Who won?

In third place was Fisk with 124 points. Second place went to Weymouth with 125 point and the overall winder was Sutton with 156 points.
