To help you imagine in a bit more detail, you may also be interested to know that:

· Throughout the winter months the boarders like to snuggle up and watch a movie on Wednesdays and at the weekend. On Thursday evenings you get the chance to go swimming between 7.30 & 8.00.

· On Saturday mornings, you will take part in the Junior School Activities programme.

· Mrs Rosier comes in to look after you at the weekend when Mrs Kirkham is not on duty. She has a different routine. As well as allowing you to choose what to do with your free time, Mrs Rosier will take you swimming and into the town on Sunday afternoon with a little pocket money.

· Sometimes we go to Chapel on Sunday mornings with the Senior School boarders.

· Your parents can telephone you during the evenings, between 7.15 and 8pm, or during weekend, by using the Junior School number (01843 572912), as the line is transferred through to Kirby House. You can, of course use your mobile phone if you prefer to.

· We are sure you will enjoy your time with us. If there is anything worrying you though you should tell Mrs Kirkham, Mrs Rosier, a gap student or one of your teachers. We hope you have a very happy time boarding at St Lawrence College Junior School.
