St. Lawrence College Bus Service

We run our own bus service for day pupils living just outside the Thanet towns. There is a bus service twice daily for pupils living in Folkestone, Sandwich, Birchington, Herne Bay and Whitstable.

Our Registrar will provide you with more details should you need them.

Ramsgate Train Station

Ramsgate train station is a short 10 minute walk from the College grounds.

There is a direct train to Canterbury which runs approximately every half an hour from 05.30 until 23.00. This train takes roughly 21 minutes to complete its journey. Trains from Ramsgate depart approximately every 20 minutes throughout the day, with the first train departing at 04.30 and the last train leaving at 22.50.

Trains travel to both London Charing Cross and London Victoria, with an approximate journey time of 2hrs 15 mins and 1hr 58 mins respectively.

Bus

There is an excellent bus service which links the five Thanet towns of Broadstairs, Ramsgate, Margate, Westgate and Birchington.
